Monterey Consultants, Inc. is a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) which was certified as an 8(a) small business in April 1997 by the Small Business Administration. Our mission is to "provide world class quality products and value added services", on time, at a fair and reasonable price.
Our staff is composed of personnel with backgrounds in the military, government, defense contractor, administration and academia. Monterey’s corporate experience includes Staff Studies/Analysis & Research, Management Consulting, Acquisition Management, Program Management, Information Technology, Planning, Training and Conference Management Services.
Since the company was established, Monterey personnel have been directly involved in U.S. Air Force , U.S. Army, DoD organizations, and other Federal agencies which pertain to technical support of Specialized Market Research, Acquisition Support, Congressionally mandated small business initiatives, DoD’s Mentor-Protégé Program, Electronic Subcontract Reporting System (eSRS), Balanced Scorecard/Strategic Planning, Long Range Acquisition Estimates (LRAE) and the Air Force’s Historically Black Colleges/Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MI) Interactive Electronic Mall (IEM). This support includes providing analysis support of Comprehensive Subcontracting Plans for Major Prime Contractors and HBCU/MIs. Support has also been provided to Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs), Women-Owned Businesses (WOBs) and the Nationwide Native American Initiative.
